Fridays usually meant going out with friends, family or the hubby.
\nIt was surely going to be fun.
\nSo Fridays really make me feel excited!<\/p>\n
Then I stepped into motherhood.
\nAnd my definition of Fridays have changed.
\nDon’t get me wrong. I love being a Mom.
\nIt puts me in a different level of contentment in my life.<\/p>\n
On the flipside of it, Fridays make me sad somehow.
\nDespite the busy week, I noticed I miss Mommy more on Fridays.
\nMaybe because we talk more\/FaceTime on Fridays and over the weekend.
\nOr maybe it’s the conversations we usually
\nhave that I miss.<\/p>\n
Pains me not hear her opinion on something that crosses my curiousity.
\nI yearn for her wisdom.
\nIt can be as simple as talking about the next recipe I want to try, motherhood or parenting, or planning the next holiday.
\nIt’s the little things.<\/p>\n
Now, I just have to learn to make new habits, new traditions.
\nSucks that she is not going to be physically included.
\nBut no matter what, she is a part of me forever.
\nMy Mommy is always in my heart.<\/p>\n
Oh well, life sucks.<\/p>\n
Then I see my little daughter.
\nHow she lights up when she sees me.
\nMy broken heart is now alive and stitched back up.<\/p>\n
Really, it sucks to be me right now.<\/p>\n
So I am happy and contented.
\nBut at the same time, I am still grieving.
\nMaybe, that’s it.
\nBecause there is so much pain in my heart, whenever I see love, it makes me see the happiness life brings.<\/p>\n
